How is PBI Zone connected to DMH and Oral?

We will address several unresolved issues of the compositional development of the child gut microbiota. The evidence is clear that the composition of the community of gut bacteria, which develops around birth and during infancy also has long-term health effects.

• What are the interrelations to the mouth and upper respiratory tract microbiota and how could we promote healthy colonisation during the critical period of maturation?
• What are our clinical practices we should reconsider from this point of view?
